Dwight currently works for Raytheon Missile Systems as a supply chain analyst developing and presenting metrics to measure various aspects of the Raytheon’s supply chain performance.
Dwight has 25 years experience working in logistics & supply chain and 18 years applying “Lean” in the manufacturing environment. After finishing service in the US Navy Dwight worked for McDonnell Douglass Astronautics (Boeing) providing logistics support for the “Tomahawk” ground launched cruise missile system. He worked for Weiser Lock here in Tucson as a production planner, buyer/planner and senior buyer. He also worked for Lockheed Martin/SI as a business analyst and a project manager working with the US Air Force on business systems modernization with integration of “Lean” into their overhaul and rework activities both at AMARC/DM and Hill AFBs. Dwight also has experience writing software for “shop floor control” to track a wide array of millwork activity for Architectural Traditions in Tucson AZ.
Dwight has an extensive background in applying Lean thinking to various manufacturing processes both internal and external. His understanding of Kaizen projects , 5S and value stream mapping have been essential to his success in undertaking business improvements. |
